Diodes introduces the market-leading AH35xx series of all-pole Hall effect switches

     Diodes Inc. introduces the market-leading AH35xx series of all-pole Hall effect switches. With a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 28V, the devices can support all 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 24V tracks commonly found in industrial, office and appliance applications.

     Common applications in the market include position and proximity sensing, open and closed circuit detection, level detection and flow metering. All units in the AH35xx series include input power supply reverse polarity and overvoltage protection with excellent 6kV HBM ESD rating, as well as output overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

     Charles Kuo, Diodes Incorporated's Global Sensor Marketing Manager, said, "Our high-voltage all-pole Hall-effect switches combine performance and robustness to make them ideal for use in a wide range of devices and industrial products."

     There are three devices in this series, which can choose two magnetic switching threshold configurations; The operating point is ±40 or ±20 gauss, while the release point is ±10 or ±25 Gauss, respectively. All units have high threshold stability and low temperature drift. The AH3572 and AH3574 feature low-state active drain open output, while the AH3582 offers low-state active internal resistance pull-up output, reducing the number of components and the overall size of the solution.

     With fast power-on (10µs) and response time (3.75µs), the AH35xx series is particularly suitable for critical applications in protection and fault detection. The AH35xx series is specifically designed to operate in the ambient temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. The AH35xx series offers package options such as SOT23 (tape and reel) and SIP-3 (folded (ammo) or bulk).
