Excelitas TechnologiesCorp recently launched its PX.DIMAX 3.6ST streaming high-speed camera for scientific and industrial applications. The new camera uses real-time image streaming to capture sharp images at a resolution of 3.6 megapixels and a recording speed of 2,166 frames per second, making it ideal for high-speed sorting, analysis and inspection applications including production control and analysis, quality assurance, research, process and material development, laser welding, inert gas welding, and automotive airbag and component testing.
The PX.DIMAX 3.6ST camera combines the frame rate of a high-speed camera with long time recording to stream images in real time via 8x10GB fiber, helping to break any internal memory limitations. The Camera Link HS Data Interface (CLHS FOL) ensures lossless image detail through uncompressed 10-bit data transmission. Every PX.DIMAX camera comes with intuitive PCO software.
The easy-to-use PX.DIMAX 3.6ST camera is a new addition to Eselida's range of cutting-edge PCO cameras and optoelectronics products for a variety of scientific and industrial research applications, including automotive crash testing.
