FLIR introduces Ranger HDC MR Hd Medium-range surveillance system

     FLIR Systems has announced the launch of a new HD medium-range surveillance System, the FLIR Ranger HDC MR. The Ranger HDC MR Sets new surveillance benchmarks to detect illegal activity even in severe weather conditions, and utilizes embedded analytics and image processing capabilities to reduce cognitive effort, enabling operators to quickly distinguish between real threats and false alarms.

     The FLIR Ranger HDC MR Is a high-performance, high-definition thermal imaging system at the same price as a standard resolution system. The Ranger HDC MR Can capture more views with the same target resolution using its high-definition imaging than standard systems. With the built-in atomization filter (which penetrates haze) and the optional Merlin ASX turbulence filter (penetrates heat/air turbulence), mission capability is expanded twice for more accurate target classification.

     The Ranger HDC MR Will also host on-board AI image processing for faster decision making. Its advanced technology leverages the permanent movement to increase reliability while reducing downtime and maintenance costs, with the average time between failures of the permanent movement more than double that of previous models.

     Equipped with a HD thermal camera, 1280 x 720 detector and 1920 x 1080 HD color TV camera, the Ranger HDC MR Is designed for integration with other sensors, making it ideal for anti-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) applications. The AI-ready HDC MR Also includes an industry-leading cybersecurity tool that helps secure systems against cyberattacks by scanning various software versions to reduce risk.
