FLIR introduces the C5 compact thermal imager with cloud connectivity

     FLIR Systems announced the launch of the FLIR C5 compact thermal camera with new built-in FLIR Ignite™ cloud connectivity and Wi-Fi capabilities for professionals in building maintenance, manufacturing and utilities. The FLIR C5 is designed as a pocket portable thermal imager to provide easy-to-share tools and reduce diagnostic time for commercial electrical inspection, mechanical engineering, house and building inspections, energy audits and general contracting.

     The C5 is the first FLIR Cx series thermal imager to offer the FLIR Ignite cloud solution. When the thermal camera is connected to Wi-Fi, professionals can upload, store and back up images and videos directly to FLIR Ignite. They can also manage and share data via email from any mobile device or desktop computer. By consolidating all images and videos in one place, it's easy to share data with team members and create reports for customers.

     Inspectors can immediately pinpoint hidden problems with FLIR Lepton® thermal imaging sensors and FLIR's patented MSX (Multispectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, where the visible scene details are imprinted on the thermal image to create a clear image.
