FLIR introduces the M300 series of thermal cameras for maritime use

     FLIR Systems announced the launch of a new generation of maritime thermal cameras, the FLIR M300 series, which offers advanced perception enhancement technology, safer navigation, and seamless integration with onboard systems. The FLIR M300 series thermal imagers are designed for the most demanding professional seafarers and first responders working in the harshest Marine environments.

     The next generation M300 series is the successor to FLIR's industry-leading M-series thermal cameras for maritime use and consists of five models - four with FLIR Boson high-resolution thermal camera movements and one visible-only, high-definition (HD) model - all equipped with a rugged new pin-top housing. The series features two dual-sensor models, the M364C and the M364C LR, which enhance seafarers' perception through FLIR's patented Color Thermal Vision (CTV) technology.

     The proprietary multispectral imaging technology for the FLIR M300 series and FLIR's Raymarine Axiom line of navigation displays combines thermal imaging with high-definition visible color video to enhance the recognition of buoys, vessels and other objects at night. The M300 series integrates the latest generation of Marine navigation displays, including FLIR's award-winning Raymarine Axiom series multi-function displays.
