Flash series CMOS image sensors for 3D laser triangulation applications

     Teledyne e2v, a company of Teledyne Technologies and a global innovator in imaging solutions, announced the expansion of its Flash™ CMOS image sensor family with the launch of the Flash 2K LSA, The product is specifically designed for laser profile applications that require the use of the Greater Schaim Fleur Angle (LSA).

     Teledyne e2v's Flash series CMOS image sensors are specifically tailored for 3D laser contour/displacement applications and high-speed/high-resolution detection. The Flash 2K LSA is a derivative of the Flash 2K sensor for applications that require a large Schimfleur Angle, with an Angle response of more than four times at 30° and more than seven times at 40°. In addition to improving image quality, the sensor can also optimize the power of the laser line at the system level when using the Greater Schaymfleur Angle.

     The Flash 2K LSA shares the same 6 µm CMOS global shutter pixel with the rest of the Flash family, effectively combining high resolution with fast frame rates. It also has the same application features, such as HDR mode up to 100 dB, multiple regions of interest, and instant changes between frames.
