Flex Power Modules BMR492 series is a new addition with 1/8 brick modules providing up to 1100W peak power

     Flex Power Modules has announced that two new higher power products, BMR4920100/001 and BMR4920300/864, have been added to the already released BMR492 series of through-hole digital voltage stabilized isolation bus converters. The BMR4920100/001 has A rated output of 10.4V/67.4A at 40 to 60V inputs (80V/100 ms) and can deliver peak power of up to 950W in less than 1 second. The BMR4920300/864 has the same input voltage range, with a 12V output at 66.7A, providing 800W continuous power and 1100W peak power.

     Both new products come in an industry-standard one-eighth brick package (58.4 x 22.7 x 14mm) with a baseplate and advanced thermal management technology to achieve efficiencies greater than 97% at half load and to maintain efficiencies at loads lower than 10%. The new product features input-to-output and input-to-substrate isolation voltages of up to 1500VDC, complies with IEC/UL/EN 62368 safety standards, provides stringent voltage stabilization, transient load response times with a typical value of 50µs, and guarantees pre-bias startup.

     The BMR492 series has comprehensive control and protection functions, including remote on/off, input undervoltage, output overvoltage, output overcurrent and short circuit protection. The free Flex Power Designer software suite provides a PMBusTM interface for remote configuration and monitoring.

The new 700W and 800W products offer higher power densities in space-constrained applications, and their design flexibility means additional product models can be created upon request."
