Flex Power Modules introduces BMR510 two phase voltage adjustment module

     Flex Power Modules announced the launch of the BMR510, the first two-phase voltage adjustment module with 80A continuous total output current; With 4.5 ~ 16V input and 0.5 ~ 1.3V output, it can output a total of 140A peak current. With a volume of less than 0.7 cm3 (10 x 9 x 7.6 mm) including magnetic components, the module provides a complete power level circuit for high-specification voltage regulation modules in space-constrained applications, including powering cpus, Gpus, IPUs, high-end FPgas, and high-performance ASics. These scenarios are common in the latest artificial intelligence (AI) applications, where current requirements can exceed 100A.

     The BMR510 is halogen-free and optimally designed for top cooling applications, with LGA and optional solder bump terminal packages for easy soldering and assembly. The BMR510 integrates over - and overcurrent protection and provides sampling of current and temperature values for remote monitoring. The BMR510 has an enabled input, and the module can also accept tri-state PWM inputs.

     Flex Power Modules can provide the thermal simulation model of BMR510, so that the product can be integrated into the target application more effectively. The BMR510 will go into production in the first quarter of 2022 and samples are now available.

     The two-phase BMR510 will be the first of many new voltage adjustment module products for Flex Power Modules. Future products will offer multiple phase totals, different output currents, and packages to support current and next-generation CPU and GPU applications.
