Gaia Converter supports a wide input voltage range from 12 V to 160 V

     Gaia Converter's MGDDI-06 series ultra-wide input DC/DC power module provides a permanent ultra-wide input voltage range from 12 V to 160 V. The series is designed for distributed power architectures with variable input voltages and transients, making it ideal for applications such as rail and transportation systems, avionics, and the military. The MGDDI-06 series conforms to the railroad's 24 V(DC), 37 V(DC), 72 V(DC), 110 V(DC) voltage range or DO-160/MIL-STD-704 voltage range with no additional voltage limiter.

     The series includes dual output voltage options isolated separately from 2v x 5v, 2v x 12v, 2v x 15 V, and 2v x 24 V. These can be easily configured to be parallel, in series, symmetric, or independent. The total power is 6w, and the two outputs can use an imbalance of 5 W in one channel and 1 W in the other.

     The module is designed with LC network filter to reduce reflected input current ripple. MGDDI-06 devices include soft start, input undervoltage lock, permanent short-circuit and overload protection, and output overvoltage limits to ensure effective module protection. Soft start allows current limitation and eliminates inrush current during startup. Short Circuit protection Fully protects the converter from short circuits for any duration of time when it is turned off and returned to normal and overload is eliminated. The modules are sealed with a two-component heat-conducting compound to ensure optimal power consumption under harsh environmental conditions.
