Hammond Manufacturing's polycarbonate casings provide waterproof and outdoor grade solutions for tiny electronic devices

     Hammond's 1551W series micro plastic housing is designed to safely protect electronic equipment from outdoor environmental factors. Each housing is equipped with self tapping cap screws and replaceable silicone washers. All specifications are available with or without integrated mounting flange. Available in light grey and black, the satin textured finish and sturdy polycarbonate material make these housings resistant to weathering and scratching. PCB brackets are molded into each box, making them ideal for mounting small circuit boards.

     The 1551W series is designed to meet the IP68 protection standard, providing excellent protection against liquid and dust intrusion. The polycarbonate material has flame retardancy, and the flammability grade is UL94 V-0. The attached cover mounting screws are made of stainless steel and are located outside the silicone washers to improve the degree of protection.
