
Harwin has expanded the connector cable assembly and added more variants to the 2.00mm pitch Datamate High Reliability (Hi-Rel) connector assembly, enabling greater customer convenience. Sixty-one new models have been added to the Harwin cable assembly portfolio, and these new products are immediately available from stock through Harwin supply chain partners.
The new cable assembly includes male and female connectors with a variety of contact and cable length options. These connectors are available in single - and double-ended configurations with 150mm, 300mm, and 450mm cable lengths. Also included in the contact options is the high-performance T-Contact with a maximum current of 8.5A. For components with extended rear wall housings, epoxy resin backpotting is used to mitigate stress effects. All connectors are equipped with stainless steel setting screws for a stronger engagement and higher vibration resistance.
These new cable assemblies are consistent with all products in the Datamate family and have the mechanical strength required for highly reliable deployment. Not only do they support 500 docking cycles, but they also have excellent impact resistance (100G impact for 6ms) and vibration resistance (10G vibration for 2 hours per shaft). They also have a wide operating temperature range of -55℃ to + 125℃.
