Harwin has announced that Datamate J-Tek and Gecko High-Reliability (Hi-Rel) connectors with flexible printed circuits (FPC) are now available, ideally suited for use with little space above the board. These FPC components are ideal for applications such as aerospace, racing, satellite and defense facilities, providing engineers with flat interconnect solutions. This means that in system design, multiple PCBS can be stacked more closely together. With right-angle connections, these components can be attached to the perimeter of the board, providing advantages such as easy thermal management and simplified pairing.
