Harwin's durable industrial board-to-board connectors are tested to operate up to 3Gbit/s

     Harwin has confirmed that its Archer Kontrol 1.27mm pitch board-to-board connector supports data rates of up to 3Gbits/s. Compatible with Ethernet speeds up to 2.94Gbit/s, these connectors are optimized for modern industrial infrastructure.

     For the industrial drive and control market, the Archer Kontrol series has also proven to be very effective in monitoring and data acquisition equipment. The fitted connector can withstand up to 20G of vibration and can cope with the harsh conditions of automated and mechanized processes. The fully shielded and polarized design withstands strong lateral and twisting forces, and surface mount compacts reduce stress on welded connections.

     Blind inserts are easy to implement thanks to the large amount of chamfering on the front edge - allowing a maximum offset of 0.7mm. Gold-plated phosphor bronze contact areas enable these connectors to handle up to 500 pairing cycles. When operating at temperatures up to 125°C, they are a safe choice for small to large industrial equipment connections.

     The Archer Kontrol series covers a pin count of 12 to 80 contacts, variable vertical connector height, and board-to-board spacing of 8mm to 20mm. For vertical and horizontal connectors designed for male and female, all fit configurations are feasible - edge-to-edge coplanar, parallel board-to-board and right Angle mother-to-board. Easy blind inserts and right Angle connections mean these components are ideal for backplane connections. Each contact supports up to 1.2A of current.
