High precision small coreless magnetic current sensor for AC and DC measurements

     The Infineon Technologies TLE4971 XENSIV Magnetic Current Sensor is a high-precision miniature coreless magnetic current sensor for AC and DC measurements, featuring two fast overcurrent detection outputs and an analog interface. Infineon's sophisticated and robust monolithic Hall technology enables highly linear and accurate current measurement up to ±120A at full range. The sensor has internal self-diagnosis function. Typical applications are onboard chargers and any type of drive.

     The principle of differential measurement allows excellent suppression of stray fields when operating in harsh environments. Two separate interface pins (OCDs) provide a fast output signal if the current exceeds a pre-set threshold. The sensor ships as a fully calibrated product that does not require any tail-line calibration from the customer. All user programmable parameters, such as punch time, OCD threshold, and output configuration mode, are stored in embedded EEPROM memory.
