Hirose Electric offers an easy-to-use, tool free strip and poke connector that is ideal for LED lighting module applications. The height of the KN27 series is only 4.2 mm. The space saving design is 3.9 mm wide (single contact) and 11.85 mm long. All use standard industry footprints. In addition, the smaller KN27 series provides a higher current rating of up to 9a.

Hirose Electric has introduced an easy to use, toolless strip and poke connector that is ideal for LED lighting module applications. The KN27 series is only 4.2mm in height and the space-saving design is 3.9mm wide (single contact) and 11.85mm long, all using the standard industry footprint. In addition, the smaller KN27 series offers higher current ratings up to 9a.

The KN27 series connectors were developed to replace traditional terminals in LED lighting module applications. The strip-poke design eliminates the need to unscrew connections and check loose terminal block screws, which provides more reliable terminals and reduces installation variation, time and cost.

The KN27 Series LED Lighting connectors feature a rugged two-point contact design that provides a reliable connection. The connector has an internal boot system that makes cable insertion simple and safe. A lever provides easy cable extraction. The KN27 series is available in 1-pin or 2-pin models and accepts 18 AWG to 24 AWG. The connector is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
