Honeywell introduces the HF800, the first industrial-grade DPM code reader. With excellent DPM decoding capabilities, a wider range of work and the powerful function of supporting high-speed motion decoding, HF800 can effectively reduce data entry errors, save management time and costs, and help more efficient product management processes in various industrial scenarios such as automated production lines in the electronics industry, automated logistics sorting lines, food processing lines and automotive manufacturing lines.
With the development of industrial information technology, barcode information technology is increasingly widely used in the industrial field. Many industries have increasingly high requirements for product quality backtracking and tracking management, and the use of direct parts identification (DPM) is becoming more common in the industrial field. At present, DPM has been widely used in manufacturing, food and drug supervision, aerospace and other industries in the production process, and through laser erosion, dot matrix and reproduction, inkjet marking and other common ways appear in plastic, synthetic materials, metal and glass and other materials.
The diversity of bar code information and application scenarios make the performance of DPM readers particularly important: how to complete efficient component traceability management in the case of bar code firing pins, mutilation, skew, distortion, etc., is a common challenge faced by all DPM readers.
Honeywell's new industrial-grade DPM reader, the HF800, delivers superior bar code reading performance. It can interpret all 1D and 2D barcodes, including barcodes on printed labels and the most difficult to read DPM codes, while supporting high-speed motion decoding. HF800 can quickly identify the DPM code of the parts on the automatic assembly line of various electronic industries such as PCB boards and precision electronic parts, and carry out real-time data acquisition and production process data tracing. At the same time, with multiple HF800 combinations of Master/slave networking functions, HF800 can cover all locations on the logistics automation sorting line. No matter where the bar code is, multiple combined HF800 devices can be scanned together, as long as one of them recognizes the bar code, it can pass the sorting gate, greatly improving work efficiency.
Strong DPM decoding capability: HF800 uses a 500,000-pixel resolution image sensor, the number of images per second can reach 60fps, built-in red LED light source, equipped with excellent DPM decoding algorithm. Suitable for harsh and complex environments: Robust and compact shape design, suitable for use in relatively compact industrial environments and can be perfectly integrated into automated production lines, IP65 protection level also makes it able to handle complex and harsh production environments.
Easy and fast configuration: The HF800 stationary reader is equipped with the configuration software DataMax, and the powerful AutoLearn self-learning function is equipped on the device and in the software to achieve one-click image Settings. The HF800 integrates network cable ports, RS232 ports, and RS485 ports, and supports I/O port output.
Mr. Chai Xiaozhou, Vice President and General Manager of Sensing and Productivity Solutions, Honeywell Security and Productivity Solutions Group, Greater China, said: "Honeywell is committed to providing customers with end-to-end supply chain solutions to help customers solve a variety of hardware and software challenges. In recent years, more and more industries have strengthened product quality traceability and tracking management, and automatic identification applications have gradually changed from one-dimensional bar codes to two-dimensional matrix codes, and DPM codes are widely used in all walks of life. The Honeywell HF800 was born to do just that, to provide customers with the most efficient product management experience possible."
