IAR fully supports the AS32X series RISC-V MCU

The two parties will work together to support the innovative research and development of developers in the Chinese automotive industry, and will continue to deepen cooperation and expand technological exploration and ecological improvement in the industry.

 

     AS32X series MCU is designed based on 32-bit RISC-V dual-core lock step architecture, which meets the requirements of functional safety ASIL-B level. The main frequency is up to 180MHz, the comprehensive computing power is up to 516DMIPS, and the benchmark running time is up to 4.08 CoreMark/MHz. Built-in FPU, CRC computing unit and security hardware extension unit DSE, built-in support ECC 16KB data cache DCache, 16KB instruction cache ICache, 2MB internal PFlash, 512KB internal DFlash, 512KB internal user SRAM, It also supports up to 16MB of external flash memory. The chip adopts a wide voltage supply of 2.7-5.5V, the operating temperature range meets AEC-Q100 Grade1, and the functional safety meets ASIL-B level. The chip supports 24 advanced timers (PMW, QEI, TIM reusable), 32 DMA, 8 USART (LIN reusable), 4 CANFD, 48 ADC (synchronous sampling), 4 SPI, 2 Iics, 1 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface, with excellent IO versatility. Meet the requirements of complex system design.

 

     With its high safety, low failure, multi-IO and other characteristics, this series of MCUS can be widely used in a variety of scenarios: can be used in the automotive field of Windows, seats, mirrors, sunroofs, engine cooling fans, water pumps, high and low pressure compressor control and other body control systems, can also be used in chassis control, powertrain and other vehicle control systems; It can also be used in industrial fields, such as new energy, water conservancy, electricity, industrial control, robot control systems, etc.

 

     With the rapid adoption of RISC-V architecture in the automotive industry, there is a growing demand for development tools that are efficient, reliable, and compliant with functional safety standards. With its advanced tool chain, IAR provides strong support for automotive embedded system development, which not only significantly improves development efficiency, but also integrates key elements of modern development practices such as functional safety and automated workflows.
