
IAR, the world's leading provider of software solutions for embedded system development, and Core Technology, the leader in full-scene smart car core, have announced a further expansion of their collaboration, with the latest version of IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm now fully supporting Core Technology's E3119/E3118 vehicle scale MCU products. IAR and Xinchi Technology have a long history of cooperation, and the combination of the two parties in the field of functional safety of vehicle regulations will bring more efficient and safer solutions to the industry.
The products and solutions of Xinchi Technology cover the field of intelligent cockpit and intelligent car control, supporting the continuous iteration and upgrade of electronic and electrical architecture of automobile enterprises. Chipchi continues to improve the layout of its E3 series high-performance MCU products, and in March this year, it released a new automotive MCU product E3119/E3118. The product uses an ARM Cortex R5F CPU with up to two independent 400MHz high-performance application cores and an information security core with a maximum frequency of 200MHz, focusing on application scenarios such as body domain controllers, area controllers, liDAR systems, forward-looking all-in-One and battery management systems.
The E3119/E3118 meets the needs of most body and intelligent driving applications. The product meets the Full EVITA information security rating and supports ISO 21434 compliant information security firmware up to ISO 26262 ASIL-B at the functional security level. Xinchi will provide functional safety software library, FMEDA and various functional safety documents, and complete ASIL-B level product functional safety certification for products.
In increasingly complex automotive electronics systems, IAR's embedded development solutions are critical to ensuring safety and reliability. IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm is a comprehensive embedded development solution that provides powerful support for complex automotive application development. It contains highly optimized compilers and build tools, code analysis tools C-STAT and C-RUN, and a powerful debugger. At the same time, IAR also provides a powerful I-jet emulator that supports SMP and AMP multi-core debugging. For applications with functional safety requirements, IAR offers TUV SUD certified functional safety versions that comply with full standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. The use of these certified tools can help enterprises accelerate the development and certification of functional safety products, improve product safety, meet industry requirements, and enhance market competitiveness. For teams with continuous integration (CI) workflows, IAR also offers a Build Tools version that supports Linux.
