     IAR Embedded Trust protects customer data and equipment through "4A", specifically including: "Anti cloning" introduces the concept of unique identification of software applications and equipment hardware, thus preventing counterfeiting and overproduction during manufacturing; Active IP protection and its security key management mechanism ensure that applications run only on authorized devices and only after the security start of authentication. "Anti-rollback" includes the software security update process and checks it for rollback attacks and version vulnerabilities; "Authentication" encrypts authentication of a device's identity, protected data, and confidential information, and runs only legitimate firmware and updates, all based on a trust anchor built into each device that cannot be compromised.
