Infineon Technologies MA2304xN MERUS™ multistage switching amplifier

     Infineon Technologies MA2304xN MERUS™ Multistage Switched audio amplifier is a 2W × 37W audio amplifier that uses MERUS multistage switched amplifier technology to achieve excellent power efficiency at both low and high output power. The device's multistage switching reduces EMC requirements and provides inductorless applications at a lower cost. The MA2304xN features a high-order internal feedback loop that ensures low THD and high PSRR for excellent audio performance.

     The Infineon MA2304DN amplifier integrates a highly configurable DSP for correcting deficiencies in real speaker applications through equalization, limiting, and more. The MA2304PN features simpler volume controls and limiter for systems where the application/connection processor is responsible for audio processing.

     The MA2304DN has excellent ultra-low idle power consumption, making it ideal for use in battery powered speaker applications, resulting in longer battery life and lower battery cost. In main-powered multi-channel applications, impossible industrial designs can be achieved without heat sinks due to reduced EMI performance and scalability
