Infineon introduces a low-cost, low-power, long-range Bluetooth module

     Infineon Technologies AG has launched its latest Bluetooth module CYW20822-P4TAI040, achieving new breakthroughs in terms of low power consumption and coverage, and promoting the further development of wireless connectivity technology on the Internet of Things and consumer electronics. The module offers a higher price/performance ratio than its peers, enhanced performance by supporting Bluetooth Low Power Long Range transmission (LE-LR), excellent reliability, seamless integration and support for a wide range of applications. Infineon's CYW20822-P4TAI040 Bluetooth module combines low power consumption and high performance to support all Bluetooth LE-LR application scenarios including industrial IOT applications, smart homes, asset tracking, beacons and sensors, and medical devices.

     A recent report published by ABI Research shows that industrial IOT applications, including sensing, robotics, beacons, smart homes, asset tracking, and other future application scenarios, have higher requirements for a variety of product performance. To this end, the CYW20822-P4TAI040 Bluetooth module from Infineon provides strong connectivity and excellent performance to help customers create innovative products for the Internet of Things and consumer electronics.
