Infineon Technology Co., Ltd. has developed a 32-bit programmable microcontroller (MCU) based on ARM Cortex-M0 core, with built-in NFC wireless communication module, which can help customers economically and efficiently develop intelligent execution terminals, such as passive locks.

     The NAC1080 MCU comes with an NFC interface that allows you to directly control the device through your smartphone. Advanced on-premises and cloud capabilities can be extended in mobile applications provided by regional marketing partners. This helps customers reduce BOM costs and supports the miniaturization of product design. The NAC1080 supports different modes of operation, which can be powered by mobile phone through NFC function in passive mode, or by battery in active mode. The NAC1080 also integrates an AES128 accelerator and a true random number generator to encrypt and decrypt data while achieving ultra-low power consumption.
