Infineon's Intelligent Application Capability Center is launched to accelerate application innovation for Chinese customers

     Infineon Technologies announced that the Infineon Greater China Intelligent Application Competence Center was officially launched in Shenzhen. The competence center will provide customized semiconductor application system solutions for customers in South China and even the entire Greater China region, helping local customers accelerate intelligent application innovation and application scenarios.

     The new intelligent application capability center will focus on industrial intelligent equipment, smart home, smart car and the Internet of Things and other application fields, based on multiple development and test platforms, fully explore how to use various power devices to improve the operation efficiency of industrial equipment, reduce the energy consumption of home appliances such as air conditioners, and improve the endurance of new energy vehicles; Explore how sensors can be used to make appliances smarter, make cars safer, and enable higher levels of autonomous driving; At the same time, we actively develop hardware-based security application solutions to protect the security of the Internet of Things.

     In addition, the capability center also houses a laboratory capable of providing EMI (electromagnetic interference), electrostatic (ESD) and lightning Surge (Surge) testing to help customers further accelerate product development and reduce time to market. It is also the first integrated laboratory built by Infineon in mainland China that can perform electromagnetic interference testing, electrostatic testing and lightning surge testing.
