Infinitum and Infinitum will work together, Infinitum Technologies announced at APEC 2023. This is a manufacturer that has created sustainable, breakthrough hollow motors. Under the partnership, Infineon will provide silicon carbide (SiC) CoolSiC™ MosFets and other key semiconductor components that enable Infinitum's motor system to achieve precise motor control, superior power and high energy efficiency.
Infineon showcased its Infinitum hollow EC motor for commercial and industrial applications at its booth. Using Infinitum's patented hollow motor design, the motor replaces the bulky iron stators of conventional motors with lightweight printed circuit board (PCB) stators. Infinitum's award-winning motor products are 50 percent smaller, 50 percent lighter, 10 percent more efficient and use 66 percent less copper than conventional motors.
