Integrated power transistor and inductor, heat-enhanced QFN package, and 0.6A, 1.2A, or 3A output

     RECOM Power RZ-0.6, RZ-1.2, and RZ-3.0 Buck converters integrate power transistors and inductors to provide 0.6A, 1.2A, or 3A, respectively, in the thermal enhanced QFN package. These converters have a small 2mm x 1.5mm or 2.5mm footprint and are ideal for use in low power/low voltage systems.

     The RBIZ-0.6 model features a low 1mm profile and 1.8V(DC) to 5.5V(DC) input range, while the RBIZ-1.2 converter has a 1.1mm profile and 2.5V(DC) to 5.5V(DC) input range. The RPZ-3.0 device offers a 1.3mm profile with a 2.5V(DC) to 6V(DC) input range. In all three series, the output current is fully protected against continuous short circuits, output overcurrent and overtemperature failures.

     RECOM Power RZ-0.6, RZ-1.2, and RZ-3.0 Buck converters offer large currents in small sizes, making them ideal for distributed power architectures, optical modules, PCS, machine imaging systems, and portable devices in telecommunications and industrial applications.
