Intel accelerates AI with newly priced Xeon W and Core X series processors

     Intel introduces the new Intel Xeon W and X Series processor products to bring a higher level of computing performance and AI-accelerated performance to professional creators and performance enthusiasts. The new Xeon W-2200 and X-series processors are designed to meet the diverse and growing needs of customers and are expected to be available in November. In addition, for creators and performance enthusiasts using mainstream Core TM S-series processors, the new pricing structure makes hardware upgrades much easier.

     Intel is the only company that offers a full portfolio of products that are precisely tuned to handle the compute-intensive workloads that professional creators and performance enthusiasts consistently use every day. The new Xeon W-2200 and X-series processors take high-intensity workload processing to a whole new level, making them the first high-end desktops and mainstream workstations to use Intel's DL Boost technology for AI acceleration. As a result, the AI reasoning speed is 2.2 times faster than the previous generation. In addition, the new series features Intel Turbo Max Technology 3.0, which has been further enhanced to help speed up software, such as simulation and modeling software, by identifying and prioritizing the fastest cores available.
