Intersil offers the ISL681xxx digital multiphase controller, compatible with the ISL99227/B Intelligent Power Class (SPS)

     Intersil's ISL68124/7 is a digital, dual-output, flexible, multiphase (X+Y≤7)PWM controller that supports the latest PMBus 1.3 specifications. Available in 32 pin, 5 x 5 PQFN package. Both outputs can be configured to support any desired phase assignment, up to 4 or 7 phases across two outputs (X+Y). For example, support 6+ 1,5 + 2,4 + 2,3 +2, or even 7+0 single output operation, support 3+ 1,2 +2, or even support 4+0 single output operation.

     The ISL68127 utilizes Intersil's proprietary linear, synthetic, digital current modulation solutions to achieve the industry's best combination of transient response and ease of adjustment while addressing the challenges of modern polyphase design. With minimal external components, simple configuration, robust fault management, and highly precise regulatory capabilities, achieving high performance, polyphase regulators has never been easier.

     Intersil's ISL68134/7 is a digital, dual-output, flexible, multiphase (X+Y≤4)PWM controller with AVSBus(Adaptive voltage scaling interface). Both outputs can be configured to support any desired phase allocation up to 4 or 7 phases in the two outputs (X+Y). For example, it supports 6+ 1,5 + 2,4 + 2,3 +2, or even single output operations in 7+0 configuration. It supports 3+ 1,2 +2,2 +1, or even single output operations in 4+0 configuration. Flexible phase arrangements, combined with PMBus and AVSBus interfaces, allow the device to support any demanding power needs.

     The ISL68134/7 with AVSBus provides a balanced and energy efficient solution to complement PMBus by providing a common interface to accelerate point-to-point communication between controllers and loads to control processor voltages statically and dynamically. Once a device is configured with PMBus, AVSBus can be used exclusively. ISL68134/7 utilizes Intersil's proprietary linear, synthetic, digital current modulation scheme to achieve the industry's best combination of transient response and easy adjustment while addressing the challenges of modern polyphase design.

     ISL68124/34 is available in a 40 pin, 5 x 5 QFN package, while ISL68127/37 is available in a 48 pin, 6 x 6 QFN package.Intersil's ISL99227/B is an intelligent power class (SPS) compatible with Intersil's ISL68xxx Digital Polyphase (DMP) controller and ISL6617A Phase Frequency multiplier (ISL6617A), respectively. The ISL99227/B incorporates a high precision current and temperature monitor that feeds back to the controller and multiplier for a multiphase DC/DC system.

     They simplify design and improve performance by eliminating DCR sensor networks and associated thermal compensation. Light load efficiency is supported by a dedicated LFET control pin. An industry-leading, heat-enhanced, 5 x 5 PQFN package allows for minimal overall PCB space.
