Keysight launches an enhanced UXR oscilloscope to accelerate the development of a new generation of millimeter wave communications and applications

     Keysight Technologies Inc. announced the launch of a cost-effective, flexible, single-channel oscilloscope designed to accelerate the development of a new generation of millimeter wave communications, satellite communications and radar applications. Keysight is a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers and government customers accelerate innovation and create a secure and connected world.

     UXR0051AP is the latest model of the UXR series oscilloscope product of German technology. With a frequency range of 110 GHz and a standard analysis bandwidth of 5 GHz, the product enables cost-effective, fast and flexible wideband measurement analysis. Keysight's UXR series oscilloscopes can be equipped with millimeter wave wideband analysis options to combine time domain signal analysis, spectrum analysis and digital demodulation into a single instrument, achieving excellent signal integrity and rich features at an affordable price and superior performance.

     Dr. Gabriel M. Rebeiz, Distinguished Professor at the University of California, San Diego, and a member of the National Academy of Sciences, said: "Keysight's UXR series offers excellent performance for easily and accurately analyzing millimeter wave 1x1 and 2x2 MIMO 5G NR communication links. Even at an input power of -40 dBm and a frequency of 67 GHz, it has a very low error vector amplitude (EVM) (0.2-0.9%) when measuring signals with a bandwidth of 200 MHz to 5 GHz. Without using any external amplifiers or filters, we can connect the 5G phased array to the UXR and then run the 89600 VSA software to start the measurement analysis. It reduced our measurement time from hours to minutes. It is hard to imagine how today's advanced 5G LABS would function without Keysight's UXR."
