L-com announces new products for Ethernet lightning Arresters and surge protectors

     L-com, a brand of Infinite Electronics and a leading manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced a new line of Gigabit Ethernet lightning arresters and surge protectors designed to protect valuable communications equipment from power surges and indirect lightning strikes.

     These powerful RJ45 surge protectors provide efficient protection against transient surges due to both external lightning events and internal switching events. It also enables long-term system reliability by safely diverting large amounts of transient energy while maintaining very low clamping voltages.

     Lpxtrj45-gbpoe-series surge protectors use the most advanced GDT and SASD technologies to protect critical devices in 10/100/1000Base-T protocol data networks while maintaining transparency about data throughput and DC power transmission. In addition, these surge protectors support PoE (IEEE 802.3af), PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), and POE ++ (IEEE 802.3bt) Power over Ethernet applications.
