L-com introduces 402SS helically shielded coaxial cable assemblies with frequencies up to 18GHz

     L-com has announced a range of coaxial cable assemblies with 402SS cables to replace semi-rigid cables in applications requiring flexibility. L-com's new LCCA Series 402SS coaxial cable assembly is an excellent alternative to 0.141 semi-rigid (RG402) cables. This series of cables ensures flexibility without loss of performance, and its performance indicators are very similar to semi-rigid coaxial lines.

     Precision stainless steel connectors and durable cable sheathing design help improve the service life of these flexible cable assemblies. In addition, these cable assemblies operate at frequencies up to 18 GHz and are available in a variety of connector model combinations, including: SMA male head, SMA female head, N-type male head, N-type female head, N-type female head through wall, SMA male head right Angle.

     The 402SS coaxial line has a solid central conductor, PTFE (polytetrafluoron) insulation layer, silver-plated copper braided outer shield, and silver-plated copper helix inner shield.
