     Laird Connectivity Sentrius BT610 I/O Sensor. The new Bluetooth 5 sensor platform converts wired sensors into IP67-rated, battery-powered wireless nodes to provide safe, reliable information for applications such as cold chain, HVAC monitoring, single/three phase induction motor AC current sensing, or tank level monitoring.

     The Laird Connectivity Sentrius BT610 I/O sensor is powered by the Laird Connectivity BL654 Bluetooth module and provides full Bluetooth 5 functionality, including LE coded PHY. On a hardware level, the BT610 supports almost all standard external sensors through a wide range of interface options such as universal analog input, digital input/output, I²C, SPI, and UART, or in combination with sensor cable assemblies.

     A variety of configuration options allow users to read and deliver sensor data to the cloud through an associated Android or iOS mobile app, as well as configure alarm events. Users can choose to use the Nordic nRF Connect SDK or Zephyr RTOS to develop custom applications and meet their needs, or they can use the deployable application software that comes with the BT610. BT610 is fully certified by FCC, ISED, EU, RCM and MIC, as well as Bluetooth SIG.
