Laminated band wire capacitors support the development of halogen-free FG series for general use and FA series for vehicle use

     TDK is advancing the development of products with low environmental load and a balanced life cycle. This time, the product was developed without the use of halogen, which had been included as a flame retardant in the packaging resin section of laminated wire capacitors, thus enriching the product lineup.

     The rated voltage range of the general FG series is 6.3V ~ 630V, and the electrostatic capacity range is 1pF ~ 100μF. The rated voltage range of the car FA series is 25V ~ 630V, and the electrostatic capacity range is 100pF ~ 22μF. In addition, the FA series for vehicle use meets the AEC-Q200 standard and greatly expands the product lineup with NP0 and X8R characteristics to ensure high temperatures of 150 ° C.

     In recent years, with the continuous improvement of car safety and comfort, the number of small motors carried in each car has reached more than 100. In the noise countermeasures of these small motors, laminated band wire capacitors are widely used by welding, riveting and other methods. In the face of the growing demand for noise countermeasures for small motors in the future, TDK will contribute to it through a substantial product lineup.
