Laser diode is the ideal choice for laser radar application

     The II-VI coherent ST905A13 laser diode is developed to provide a peak optical output power of 95W(typical) and offers a wavelength of 905nm. The laser adopts a reliable three-junction epitaxial structure with an emission area of 200μm × 10μm. Diodes provide short pulse operation of up to 100ns with duty cycle of 0.1%.

     This laser diode is an ideal light source for next-generation lidar applications in the automotive, industrial and consumer sectors. The equipment complies with rohs standard and is packaged in TO-56 metal canisters. The diode has a 40A(maximum) operating current and an operating temperature range of -40C to 85C. Typical application areas include industrial and consumer lidar, industrial and consumer ranging, monitoring and safety, and automotive (not eligible for AEC-Q).
