Littelfuse introduces AEC-Q101 compliant transient suppression diodes

     Littelfuse Corporation, a global leader in circuit protection, announced the introduction of its SLD family of transient suppression diodes for automotive and high-reliability applications. This AEC-Q101-compliant transient suppression diode is designed to protect sensitive electronic devices from transient voltages caused by throwing loads and other transient voltage phenomena. It comes in a standard P600 package with a rated pulse peak power loss of 5000W(10/1000μs) or 2200W(throw load).

     Combining compact design and superior electrical performance, the SLD series gives circuit designers the freedom to upgrade circuit protection within their existing design dimensions or to provide more robust and reliable load shedding protection for new projects. Applications for the SLD family of transient suppression diodes include DC power protection and ESD protection for automotive electronics such as ECUs, TCUs, BCM, sensors, and entertainment systems, as well as other long-pulse applications that require high reliability.
