MAXIM Integrated releases Trinamic servo controller/drive module

     Maxim Integrated Products, INC releases the industry's minimum size, minimum power consumption, and a single -axis servo controller/driver module that integrates motion control functions. The new TMCM-1321 servo controller/driver module is used to support the two-phase and two-pole step into the motor in the robot and automation equipment. The speed control and the synchronization of each axis are optimized. While improving the output, the power consumption is reduced by 75%. The module has a magnetic encoder and a digital input for the light -edited code. It simplifies the servo control to achieve advanced feedback and diagnostic functions. Compared with similar step motor schemes, the size decreases 3 times.

     The TMCM-1321 module is controlled by a linear slope function, that is, the TRINAMIC SIXPOINT ™ slope function, and the high-end S-shaped slope function control to speed up the effective transmission time. TRINAMIC's closed -loop control technology uses direct feedback to automatically reduce power consumption by 75%. With the integrated development environment of the RS-485 interface and TRINAMIC, the TMCM-1321 module can simplify the design and narrow the step motor by more than 3 times.
