MCU 32 bit industrial microcontroller using low power 40nm process technology

The Infineon XMC7000 32-bit Industrial Microcontroller is a low-power 40nm process MCU that delivers outstanding computing performance for high-end industrial applications. The XMC7000 MCU is based on the XMC portfolio and offers higher computing performance, as well as dual-core options, larger memory, support for sleep mode and hardware security.

The device is equipped with peripherals such as CAN FD, TCPWM and Gb Ethernet, which not only increases flexibility but also increases value. The XMC7000 features either a single - or dual-core Arm® Cortex®-M7, both options supported by the Cortex-M0+, enabling designers to optimize their final products for the dynamic and demanding business conditions of industrial applications. In addition, the XMC7000 is available in a variety of kernel/memory/package combinations, providing a complete set of advanced peripherals, real-time control, and the ability to work in harsh environments.

The Infineon XMC7000 Industrial microcontroller operates in harsh environments ranging from -40°C to +125°C. In addition, their low-power modes as low as 8µA make these MCUS ideal for power-critical applications. The XMC7000 is available in four package/pin types with a total of 17 material numbers to meet the flexible design requirements of industrial applications.

The XMC7000 comes in two series: the XMC7100 and the XMC7200, and is packaged in TQFP and LFBGA with 100 to 272 pins. The XMC7000 meets the needs of the industrial market for motor control, digital power conversion, and I/O applications.
