MaxBotix's wireless sensors provide liquid detection at zero distance

     MB7850 XL-TankSensor-WRMA from MaxBotix is a unique combination of enhanced hardware and firmware that delivers top-notch performance inside the tank. MB7850 tank sensor is a low-cost liquid level monitoring sensor, which uses ultrasonic technology for non-contact transmission detection.

     Its unique design makes it an easy to use sensor for a variety of liquid level detection applications. The MB7850 is well suited for use in containers such as cans, drums and boxes, which are often a challenge for ultrasonic equipment.

     What makes MB7850 different is its instruction function (serial communication is available), which trains the sensor to recognize the shape of an empty container. Even if there are other detectable obstacles (such as ripples), this does not prevent the sensor from correctly measuring. The sensor has an advanced target reporting algorithm to ensure the correct reporting of the fluid level.
