Maxim Integrated Products, INC launched an open source, full integrated reference design to effectively simplify the development of industrial robots (eoat) development. TMCM-1617-GRIP-Ref Reference design integrates hardware-based on-site orientation control (FOC) and 3 communication ports, reduced the design size of the electronic robot fixture by 3 times, and the development time is shortened. The reference design uses MAXIM Integrated MAX22000 industrial-grade, high-precision configuration simulation input/output, and MAX14906 four-channel digital input/output for regulating various modes to regulate the TRINAMIC TMCM-1617 single-axis servo drive.

TMCM-1617-GRIP-Ref's reference design conforms to the standard shape size used in the EOAT robotic arm fixture, support industrial Ethernet Ethercat, IO-LINK or RS-485 communication, provides software programmable audio and digital input/output. TRINAMIC Movement Control Language Integration Development Environment (TMCL-ID) configuration. Reference design and software platform combination provides a simple way for design engineers to help them quickly deliver a complete EOAT solution.
