Maxim Integrated's MAX30001CVV+is an analog front-end (AFE) solution, including biopotential and bioimpedance (BioZ) for wearable applications. The solution is designed for fitness and clinical applications, and will extend battery life due to high performance and ultra-low power consumption. It is available in a 30 WLP and can operate in the temperature range of 0 ° C to+70 ° C.

     Maxim Integrated's MAX30001CWV+ is an analog front-end (AFE) solution that includes biopotential and Bioimpedance (BioZ) for wearable applications. The solution is designed specifically for fitness and clinical applications and will extend battery life due to high performance and ultra-low power consumption. It is available in a 30 WLP and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.

 

     The MAX30001 provides electrocardiogram (ECG) waveform, heart rate, and pacemaker edge detection. The device also includes a BioZ channel that measures respiration. Biopotential and BioZ channels provide high input impedance, low noise, high common-mode rejection ratio, programmable gain, various low-pass and high-pass filter options, and high-resolution analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). Both channels also feature ESD protection, EMI filtering, internal lead bias, DC lead disconnect detection, lead detection in standby mode, and extensive calibration voltage for built-in self-testing. Soft power enhanced sort ensures no large transient injection electrodes.

 

     Biopotential channels are DC-coupled, can handle large electrode voltage offsets, and have a fast recovery mode that allows quick recovery from overdrive conditions such as defibrillation and electrosurgery. Bioimpedance channels also include integrated programmable current drivers that work with regular electrodes and have the flexibility of two or four electrode measurements. It also has AC lead detection.
