Measure the voltage drop of the shunt resistance from -5V to 110V common model range

     The Texas Instruments INA296x Ultra precision current detection amplifier measures the voltage drop of the shunt resistance in a wide model range of -5V to 110V, independent of the supply voltage. High precision current measurements are made from a combination of low bias voltage (Max. ±10 μV) and high DC CMRR(typical 166dB) with small gain error (Max. ±0.01%).

     The Bidirectional INA296x is designed for high voltage DC measurement and high speed applications such as transient detection and fast overcurrent protection, with a high 1.1MHz signal bandwidth and fast settling time.

     The INA296x amplifier operates in the temperature range -40°C to +125°C, from a single 2.7V to 20V power supply, while obtaining 2.5mA of power current. Gain options include 10V/V, 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V, and 200V/V. Multiple gain options allow optimization between available shunt resistor values and wide output dynamic range requirements. Texas Instruments INA296x current detection amplifiers are available in 8-pin SOT-23 (2.90mm x 1.60mm) or 8-pin vsop (3.00mm(2)) packages.
