Meisin Semiconductor launches new series of high-performance eOIS image stabilization drivers

     New Semiconductor, a global leader in MEMS sensing technology solutions, announced the introduction of the MSD4100WA, a new product in the eOIS image stabilization driver family. The product integrates high precision and low noise silicon based linear Hall sensor, H bridge constant current drive circuit and high precision hardware PID algorithm

     OIS is the abbreviation of optical image stabilization system, has a wide range of applications in the camera industry, mainly in digital cameras, mobile phone cameras, etc., through physical technology to achieve the lens and body shake direction compensation, so that the shooting picture becomes stable. Compared to the traditional integrated OIS products, MSD4100WA provides a lower cost solution, through the internal integrated linear Hall sensor to replace the original high cost TMR/GaAs position sensor, while the implementation of the hardware PID circuit also eliminates the internal integrated MCU, thus greatly reducing the overall hardware cost.

     MSD4100WA internal integrated 16bits high precision ADC for converting silicon based linear Hall analog signals into digital signals; H-bridge constant current drive module can provide a maximum current drive capacity of ±170mA; The high-precision PID algorithm combined with Meisin's own gyro correlation algorithm can provide a photo stabilization effect with a compression ratio better than -35dB.

     MSD4100WA has a number of index parameters better than the same type of products, compared with similar foreign standard products, MSD4100WA has the advantages of ultra-low internal resistance (1.8ohm), ultra-low standby power consumption, and is equipped with high-speed I3C interface, which greatly reduces the system delay caused by low speed interface.

     Not only that, relying on more than 15 years of technology accumulation in the field of inertial sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes, Meisin can provide a series of anti-shake single-chip integration solutions including chip, algorithm and engineering implementation, supporting high-performance gyroscope signal processing algorithms on the mobile phone, and providing corresponding drivers and algorithm debugging for different mobile phone platforms.
