Melexis MLX9042x Triaxis 3D magnetic position sensing solution

     Melexis MLX9042x Position sensor series MLX90421 Triaxis 3D magnetic position sensing solution. The MLX9042x position sensor is designed for demanding automotive applications and provides reliable performance in harsh environments. This range of sensors supports a wide range of automotive requirements, including pedal position sensors, throttle position sensors, transmission position sensors and steering wheel position sensors.

     The Melexis MLX90421 Triaxis magnetic position sensor features ASIL-B functional safety and enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), supporting proportional analog and PWM output modes. The MLX90422 Triaxis magnetic position sensor has a stable operating temperature range of -40°C to +160°C, supports SENT (SAE J2716) output mode, and enables absolute position sensing through on-chip signal processing.

     The MLX90425 Triaxis 360° rotating position sensor features stray field immunity to safely and accurately measure absolute position in harsh, noisy environments. The MLX90425 device provides a programmable measurement range and supports proportional analog and PWM output modes. The MLX9046 Triaxis 360° rotating position sensor is available in a PCB free SOIC-8 (DC) single chip or SMP-3 (VE) dual chip package. The MLX9046 sensor supports industrial and automotive applications, including driveline actuators, variable speed systems, and fuel gauges.
