Microchip PIC16F18x MCU provides support for sensor node applications

     PIC16F18015/25/44/45 and PIC16F18126/46 series MCU of Microchip Technology. These two series are specially designed for developers who need 8-bit MCU to cooperate with sensor design. They have rich functions and provide low-cost solutions for sensor signal conditioning and real-time control.

     For cost sensitive sensors and control applications, PIC16F18015/25/44/45 MCU provides 7KB to 14KB flash memory, stable control and peripheral functions, and up to 32MHz operating speed. This series of devices all adopt automatic capacitive divider (CVD) technology for advanced capacitive touch sensing, and have up to 256 bytes of EEPROM, 10 bit analog-to-digital converter (ADCC) with computing function, 8-bit analog converter (DAC) module, complementary waveform generator (CWG), three PWM, two additional capture/compare/PWM, four configurable logic units for further providing control functions and a group of communication peripherals.

     The storage space and running speed of PIC16F18126/46 MCU are similar to those of PIC16F180xx series. At the same time, it has additional digital functions, higher resolution and accurate timing, which can meet the requirements of high-end sensor applications. This series of devices has a 28KB program flash memory, a 12 bit differential ADCC, a 16 bit PWM peripheral and a CWG, two 8-bit DACs, four configurable logic units for further providing control functions, and a group of communication peripherals.
