Microchip Technology AVR32DD and AVR16DD 8-bit microcontrollers

     Microchip Technology AVR32DD and AVR16DD 8-bit microcontrollers are based on AVR cpus (with hardware multiplier, running clock speeds up to 24MHz across the entire supply voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V). The AVR32DD and AVR16DD MCU are designed to provide real-time control and multi-voltage operation for applications such as industrial control, home appliance products, automotive and Internet of Things (IoT).

     AVR32DD and AVR16DD MCU use kernel independent peripherals (CIP) with low power consumption characteristics and 5V operating voltage to improve noise resistance. Multi-voltage I/O (MVIO) design supports secure two-way communication with systems operating at different voltages. These MCUS include event systems, configurable Custom logic (CCL), and intelligent analog peripherals such as 12-bit differential ADCs, zero-cross detection (ZCD), and 10-bit Dacs. Thanks to these features and the MVIO, these devices are ideal for sensor applications, iot end nodes, and other applications that require signal conditioning or level switching.

     Microchip Technology AVR32DD and AVR16DD MCU come in 14 and 20 pin packages with up to 32KB flash memory, up to 4KB SRAM, and 256-byte EEPROM. It is also a functionally safe device suitable for safety-critical applications for industrial and automotive products (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262).
