Microchip Technology SAM G55 Audio Curiosity Development Board (EV78Y10A)

     Microchip Technology SAM G55 Audio Curiosity Development Board (EV78Y10A) is a demonstration and development platform for audio applications based on SAM G55 microcontrollers. The SAM G55 MCU is a high performance low power device based on a 320-bit ARM Cortex-M4 RISC processor with an FPU (floating point unit).

     The SAM G55 MCU operates at a maximum speed of 120MHz, with 512KB flash memory and up to 176KB SRAM. The peripheral set consists of eight flexible communication units, including the USART, SPI and I2C bus interface (TWI), two 16-bit timers, two I2S controllers, an 8-channel 12-bit ADC, a real-time timer (RTT) and a real-time clock (RTC)

     Microchip Technology SAM G55 audio Curiosity development board is pre-loaded with ATSAMG 55J19 MCU, which is packaged with LQFP-64. The Audio Curiosity development board includes an integrated programmer and debugger (EDBG) with no additional hardware required. Users can easily expand functionality through the MikroElectronika mikroBUS™ Click™ adapter board, adding Wi-Fi® connectivity using the Xplained Pro expansion board. Audio input and output functions can be added using a Microchip audio subboard via the X32 interface.
