Based on the low-power performance of AVR architecture, Microchip's AVR DD series features an excellent selection of kernel independent peripherals (CIP) and a fully loaded portfolio of intelligent simulation products, thus enabling users to carry out design innovations freely. With its comprehensive feature set, including multi-voltage input/output (MVIO), the AVR DD family is ideal for complex applications or use as a companion microcontroller (MCU) in complex designs with multiple power domains

     Microchip's AVR DD series is based on the low power consumption performance of AVR architecture, with excellent core independent peripheral (CIP) selection and full load intelligent simulation product portfolio, so users can freely carry out design innovation. With its comprehensive function set, including multi voltage input/output (MVIO), AVR DD series is very suitable for complex applications, or used as a supporting microcontroller (MCU) in complex designs with multiple power domains

     This series of MCU uses on-board CIP and 5V operation mode to improve the anti noise capability, and also uses powerful event system (EVSYS) and configurable custom logic (CCL) peripherals to reduce system delay. MVIO of AVR DD series allows true level conversion bidirectional communication with devices in different power domains, thus eliminating the need for level shifters. The flexibility of this series makes it very suitable for real-time control functions in industrial control, household appliances, automobiles, the Internet of Things (IoT) and other applications. AVR DB MCU is an excellent choice for signal conditioning function, with three on-chip operational amplifiers (op amps). Microchip's AVR DA MCU is an excellent choice for low latency control applications and capacitive touch user interfaces.


     Microchip recommends that the AVR DD series be used for safety critical applications for industrial and automotive products (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262). They also provide MPLAB ® XC8 functional security compiler license, which is a compiler package certified by T | V S | D and supports 8-bit PIC and AVR MCU. Documents such as FMEDA report and safety manual can be provided upon request
