Article Cover
Micron Technology Inc. released a number of product innovations, covering memory and storage innovations based on its industry-leading 176-layer NAND and 1α (1-alpha) DRAM processes, and introduced the industry's first universal Flash memory (UFS) 3.1 solution for automotive applications.

Micron Technology Inc, a leading supplier of memory and storage solutions, released a number of product innovation, covering the industry's leading 176-layer NAND and 1α (1-Alpha) DRAM process memory and storage innovation products, and launched the industry's first automotive application for automobiles. Universal flash memory (UFS) 3.1 solution. These latest products were published by Sanjay Mehrotra, President and CEO of Micron, and published in the COMPUTEX 2021 keynote speech of Taipei International Computer Show, which reflects the vision of Micron's insight through memory and storage to innovate data -driven insights, thereby helping the innovation of data centers and intelligent edges. Mr. Mehrotra also deeply shared the computing innovation vision in his speech, as well as the core role of memory and storage to help enterprises give full play to the core of data economic potential.

Micron announced its first batch of PCIE 4.0 solid -state hard disk (SSD) based on the world's first 176 -layer NAND, and will ship the world's first LPDDR4X DRAM based on 1α nodes this month. LPDDR4X is the latest JEDEC standard for the fourth -generation low -power DRAM. Due to the enhancement of the voltage performance of the input/output (I/O), the power consumption is greatly reduced. Therefore, it is very suitable for mobile computing devices. Micron was ahead of DRAM and NAND technology at the same time at the beginning of this year. The launch of this new product further consolidated its leading position.

Sanjay Mehrotra, President and CEO of Micron, pointed out: "As artificial intelligence and 5G technology are becoming increasingly popular, the data of data will release huge potential in the post -epidemic era. New memory and storage solutions can help accelerate innovations in the fields of large data center servers, faster client devices, and smart car edges. "

Micron's latest solid -state hard disk Micron 3400 and Micron 2450 have the characteristics of flexible design, high performance, low power consumption, etc., and can support all -weather use from professional workstations to ultra -thin notebook applications. The Micron 3400 solid -state hard disk provides 2 times reading throughput, and the maximum shares throughput increased by 85%[1], which can meet strict application needs such as real -time 3D rendering, computer -aided design (CAD), games, animation and other requirements. The Micron 2450 solid -state hard disk has maximized the performance of PCIE 4.0, providing users with a high response speed experience, and providing three shapes and sizes. The minimum M.2 specification of 22x30mm is given great flexibility to customer product design.

Chris Kilburn, Vice President and General Manager of AMD Enterprise and Client Business Department, said: "AMD is the first company in the industry to use PCIE 4.0 desktop processors and provide chip support. With the continuous expansion of the platform ecosystem supported by AMD, we are glad to see it. In the expansion of its PCIE 4.0 SSD product lines such as Micron. By cooperating with top memory and storage manufacturer Micron, we will continue to work hard to improve PC performance and efficiency to a new height. "

Thanks to advanced energy efficiency, Micron 3400 and Micron 2450 have been included in Intel® Modern Standby Portal Platform devices and meet the SSD test requirements of Intel Project Athena® Open Laboratory. These two Micron SSDs have also passed AMD's PCIE Power Speed Policy and Microsoft Windows Modern Standby.
