Micron releases industry-leading client SSDS to help the PC industry meet the needs of gaming, content creation and scientific computing applications

Micron Technology today announced that 3500 NVMe solid State drives (SSDS) based on Micron's 232-layer NAND technology are now being shipped to customers to meet the demanding workloads of business applications, scientific computing, new games and content creation, thus achieving further performance breakthroughs. The Micron 3500 SSD features an M.2 form factor with a capacity of up to 2TB, providing a superior user experience and performing well in SPECwpcsm testing, increasing product development application performance by up to 71%

The Micron 3500 SSD is now available to select PC Oems and builds on the award-winning Crucial Indera X9 Pro and Crucial Indera X10 Pro Portable SSDS to provide content creators with a wider range of SSD options.
