Molex Woodhead LED Wide Area portable for humid environments

     Molex Corporation announced the start of the supply of Woodhead LED wide area portable magnetic lamps in wet environment grade. This highly durable solution provides contractors as well as maintenance, manufacturing and quality control personnel with lamps that consume only 40 watts of power to reach a brightness of 2,700 lumens and have a lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. Compared to traditional lamps such as high-pressure sodium lamps (HPS) and metal halogen lamps (MH), this product can significantly extend the expected service life. The luminaire is also equipped with a heavy duty magnet for quick, easy and firm installation to a variety of metal surfaces.

Woodhead LED Wide Area portable magnetic lamps enable efficient operation, significantly reducing energy consumption and addressing many challenges, while the long life of the LED light source means significantly reduced maintenance requirements."

     Woodhead LED Wide Area portable magnetic lamps have instantaneous turn-on capability at extreme temperatures, are mercury free, and do not incur the cost of luminaire treatment. With a brightness of 2700 lumens at 5000K and a color reproduction index (CRI) of 86, this product provides excellent color reproduction results. The Watertite Connectivity connector is certified for use in wet environments and is available as an option to bind multiple luminaires together to illuminate large areas. The rugged cast aluminum housing and moulded polycarbonate lenses are resistant to shock, vibration, impact and corrosion. The luminaire product is cULus third-party certified for humid environments and meets compliance requirements in the United States and Canada.
