Molex introduces D-Sub shape factor ground connectors that will help customers make strong and robust ground connections without the use of specialized tools or training. The connectors are designed for harsh environments and meet the requirements of IP66 and IP67 grades.
The ground connector protects the device from stray voltages with a secure, low-impedance ground connection. Connectors with IP66 and IP67 NEMA ratings protect sensitive equipment such as telecommunications base stations from moisture intrusion when plugged in the field. The connector cover attached to the connector also provides IP protection for unpaired connectors.

The D-Sub ground connector addresses the need for quick installation and combines this factor with the extremely robust small size for which the industry is known." The D-Sub ground connector uses 40.0 amp contacts for ground cables with straight terminals (8 AWG) and provides a metal seal frame for rear mounting. Two diagonal bolts attach the connector to the housing.
